After we found out that NB-01 liked BTN, we found someone in Borakimu who will import stuff for us. Thank you, Dottie... we thank you for importing all kinds of Borac Telenetwork stuff, plus the foods that appear in the commercial breaks. We have a full on ban on that "dogs get hotter!" cereal, it's a bad product.
And thus, we got a BTN PonPou. This is a PonPouTap! in white with a custom paint job (multicolor stripes and the BTN logo) that only has PicoBTN, alongside games, songs and programmes from BTN loaded onto it. When there is a new game, programme, or song, the device updates with a cellular connection. PicoBTN updates, too... Yes they made a PonOS port of this PicoFone/Pikon app. For any real worlders seeing this, phone plans are essentially free here, and these cellular-embedded devices don't have a SIM, which means these are equivalent to older styled CDMA. You cannot put your own stuff on this device or access NettoKubi/ToKouKubi , and that's a good thing considering that there's messed up things that we don't want our brainswaps seeing (Who's seen the shock pages with Passo? Quite a few blobs, actually...)
As part of the rules, we can't really let our brain-swaps into the outside world, especially Biiko. There was one exception for Bii who went to the BTN restaurant on her birthday, but besides that, she really likes BTN, and this is her only PonPou.
The only electronic devices we give our brainswapped blobs are a merubox, a monochrome Chatlet, and a MiMeraPou (NB-01 is an exception and has a PromoPou based on her favorite MB network.)
So, is it worth keeping Bii sane? Yep. We watch too much Bommy and Me! with her.... she even sings the theme song in her sleep... it's cute...
